» The first and most critical step in any project is designing a blueprint for implementation. The JBoss Migration Assessment Service utilizes a complete and proven methodology for validating your architecture and determining the best possible migration roadmap. With an onsite intensive review of your environment and requirements, a JBoss Certified Consultant will provide a customized analysis report and project plan including strategy, resource, time and cost estimates that will reduce risk and speed time to value for your migration project. At its conclusion, JBoss will have reviewed your high-level architecture, application code, development and run time environments, build & deployment process and testing practices, and delivered a migration analysis report and plan estimate. |
| Education and Enablement: |
» Should you decide to migrate to JBoss utilizing your own IT staff, you’re not alone. JBoss can help you avoid the typical migration pitfalls with mentoring and methodologies that are proven and repeatable. When you better understand migration best practices, you reduce the risk and cost inherent in a migration project. This enablement service is available as a 4-5 day fixed-term engagement for a fixed price. At its conclusion, JBoss will have delivered on-site mentoring and a small-scale sample migration in a lab setting.

| Implementation |
» JBoss Certified Consultants will implement your migration project according to the strategy defined in the Migration Assessment Service. A proven, iterative methodology and tools will be used to speed time to productivity and mitigate the risks inherent in any migration project and ensure efficiency and success. Migration can be done on-site and/or off-site, and applications will be verified in production to ensure that everything is working as well, or better than before the migration. The term and price varies with the scope and complexity of the project. At its conclusion, JBoss will have completed, documented, and functionality verified the migration to meet or exceed your proprietary deployment. |
